Yes, We are Alive!

I can hardly believe how much time has gone by since I have posted something, actually, yes I can believe it. I am going to try to get more on top of this though. What is new since October of 2006? Well, Leila takes gymnastics classes. We moved to a new house, a little further from the ghetto. The weather has been awesome! Sam has planted a garden and everything is blooming! We hang our laundry to dry to save money, energy and it is cool to use the forces of nature! Mia is walking and climbing all over the place. The girls sleep in bunk beds. Leila and Mia both had Birthdays. Leila is 3 and Mia is 1. Sam also had a Birthday, he is 29. I got another new calling and so did Sam. I am in Primary and love it. Sam works with the scouts. Two of Sam's brothers got married- Rob married Kristi on Dec 27th and Matt married Amy on March 17th (St Patrick's Day). Sam's sister, Shelli is pregant and due in July. We just got back from a trip to Utah for Matt and Amy's wedding and had a blast. I am sure there is tons more, which is why I need to keep up this blog a little better. Oh, I also started a toy business, you can check it out on www.isellchildrenstoys.com . Well, I hope to get some more recent pictures on here too, but I also don't want to be late for church. So, for now this is the update. I hope I can be better at it, so that we can keep our friends and family somewhat in the loop and hope to hear from all of you too.

Halloween Party

We went to a Halloween/Birthday party for one of Mia's friends. We went with a Wizard of Oz theme. I was pretty excited because I made Leila's dress and just in time. The party started at 1:00 and I finished the dress at 12:15. It reminded me of my college days (getting those assignments in just in time!).

Baby Pumpkin

Erica's friend, Sierra sent the cutest pumpkin costume. It is actually for Leila, but we also thought Mia makes a pretty cute pumpkin.

The Pumpkin Farm

Leila and her friends went on a trip to the Bishops Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland, CA.

Uncle Mick is a Missionary!

We didn't get to go to the Missionary Training Center to see Mick off to his mission, but here are some pictures.

Utah Trip to See Uncle Mick

We got to go on a trip to go and visit Uncle Mick in Utah before he left on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to Chiahuahua, Mexico. The girls' cousins and some of their aunts and uncles were there as well.

Sleep over!

All the grandaughters slept over at Grandma's house.

Matsumoto's Shaved Ice

We went to get a shaved ice at the famous Matsumotos. While we were waiting in line Leila told us that she wanted pink. We were told that Coconut was the pinkest color (got to love food coloring). We were prepared for Leila to get super messy. But, she loved that shaved ice so much that she didn't even miss getting a drop into her mouth. She is a serious shaved ice eater. Afterwards she had quite the pink tongue.

Surfing

Leila loves to surf. She surfed with her Aunt Heidi and her Grandpa and was still looking to find anyone else that would take her out. The pics of her and her grandpa will be published shortly.
