Special Delivery!

We received a couple of packages in the mail. Oh, they're so cute, I wonder who sent them.

Sacramento LDS Temple

There is a temple being built near our home. I believe it will be dedicated in September. Leila loves temples, in fact she thinks that she sees temples everywhere, even if it is just Tower Records or some other big nicely made building. We walked into Trader Joes one time and there was a painting of a building on the ground. Leila got down on her knees and embraced the building and said, "A Temple!". Of course I got her right up and silently wondered whether we were a little too zealous in teaching our kids about the temple.

Yard Work

Sam found a couple of critters while doing yard work. Leila loves to help in the yard. She loves digging in the dirt to find grubs and worms.

Easter Sunday!

Leila woke up to find that the Easter Bunny came and she and Mia were very blessed by many people this year. We unfortunately didn't get a pic of the two girls all dressed up in their Easter dresses, but their nursery teacher did, so hopefully we will get a copy. In the evening we went to a friend's home for dinner and Leila and her little friend got to sit at their own table. After dinner they had an Easter Egg Hunt and played. We also learned that Leila has a new cousin that was born on Easter!

The New Toy

Leila sure is lucky to have a baby sister that shares her toys so well. I bought this play gym at a thrift store for super cheap and it has never even been used. Amelia is so funny because she will move her foot right into position to kick the dangling mirror before kicking. She is getting quite coordinated.

Rolling Over

Amelia learned how to roll over from her back to her tummy a couple of days ago. So, now she is starting to be able to roll around the room. It is funny because a couple of times we have left her lying on her back on the floor during a diaper change and then when we come back in the room she has flipped herself onto her tummy and she looks like she is going to crawl off.

Sunday at the Park

Mia was especially excited about the swing.

Our Little Purple Flower

We would have taken a picture of our little pink flower, Mia, but she had another diaper blow out at church today.

The Homemade Haircuts

Erica checked out "Haircutting for Dummies" from the local library and came home and cut Leila and Sam's hair. I couldn't get Leila to hold still for the picture, it is a miracle that she was able to hold still enough for the haircut. Barney, the purple dinosaur can be a great helper. Anyone else need a haircut?

Storytime for the Sisters

Leila reads stories to her little sister.
