Lunar New Year Parade 1

Dragon Dance and Lunar New Year Parade at Leila's School

Leila's school had a Lunar New Year Parade today. The parade started with the Dragon Dance presented by some students in her school. It was a beautiful day and a great celebration. I feel so blessed to have Leila in such a wonderful school with great kids who come from great families, a great principal and great teachers.
This is Leila's class in the parade, she is in Room 1 and you can see her at the end of this video.

The Weather has been Gorgeous!!!!

which has been such a blessing because our heat went out again this winter. It has been quite warm and last week we got some much needed rain. That was even fun. The girls loved playing with all of the worms that crawled out of the dirt during that first rain. Wish I had pics of Mia saving all of the worms by picking them up off the sidewalk and putting them safely the dirt.

Delicious lemons that we picked from our tree and made lemonade.

Who needs an amusement park when you have dad?
